Learning an instrument is one of the best things you can do for your brain. Research shows that learning an instrument improves memory, focus, and cognitive function at any age. But beyond the science, there's something deeply human about learning to make music and the way it stays with you for life.

Austin Crosby is a musician, minister, and creative based in Central Texas. He serves as Worship Minister at Wellspring Church, where he loves seeing the word of Christ dwell richly among God's people through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs (Colossians 3:16). Outside of Wellspring, he trains and teaches musicians, partners with churches and organizations to lead worship and speak, and helps individuals and businesses tell meaningful stories through creative media.
Discipleship and story are the thread running through all of it. Whether leading a congregation, helping a student grow on an instrument, or working on a creative project, the goal is always the same: helping people grow and telling stories that matter.
Austin lives in China Spring with his wife and two daughters. When he's not leading, creating, or teaching, he's probably spending time with family, watching the Longhorns, or bowhunting.
